I’m recruiting models (both veteran and novice) for the fifth Semi-Annual Emerging-Designer Photo Shoot on Virginia’s beautiful Smith Mountain Lake – Monday, Dec. 1st through Friday, December 6th. These are day-long INDIVDUAL shoots at various locales throughout Smith Mountain Lake and State Park as well as our indoor studio. Half of your shoot utilizes the new-designer line of garments and half is yours to use as you prefer for your personal and professional portfolio purposes.

The designer and I are seeking variety and diversity. Your age (if over 21), ethnicity / race and modeling experience (or lack of) is NOT a factor. Ink and mature females are welcomed and appreciated. Modeling experience is not necessary. You'll be given straightforward coaching and instructions. Must be reliable.
I’m a professional photographer with an extensive portfolio that I am happy to share along with a long list of excellent references.
The designer line is a mix of casual, dressy and evening / formal offered in a size 6 / 7. Through the hi-tech magic of clips and pins we are able to very nicely accommodate sizes zero through seven. The second half of the shoot utilizes YOUR choice of wardrobe items and posing preferences and will be selected and planned in collaboration with the photographer.
This is a TFP event - your time in exchange for your digital proofs. As with the previous New-Designer shoots, everyone is participating on a TFP basis – the designer, the professional photographer / studio and each of the models. This is a great opportunity for you to use the beautiful settings and backdrops of Smith Mountain Lake as well as our full bank of studio lights and resources to explore a range of photographic genres and looks. You need not want a career as a model to participate and benefit from this unique opportunity.
An extensive studio portfolio and dozens of references from recent and current models are available for your review.
Reply for more detailed information and, if you are comfortable doing so, consider attaching a couple of recent photos of yourself - one of which should be a head-to-toe picture.
