THIS WORK IS FOR THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND TAKES PLACE IN DANVILLE, VA.
FEB 27 and 28, 2026 only.

START TIME 10:00AM (EST) AND UP TO 6 HOURS (10am to 4:30pm)
(up to 6 hours work with 30 minutes for unpaid lunch)
{If you are more than 18 miles from Danville, VA, one-way
vehicle mileage at the rate of 0.70/mile based on your drivers
license address (up to 60 miles) shall be re-imbused}
Looking for 2 additional carpenter laborers having current
or previous work experience in the following areas:
A) Light Carpentry (wood jig construction and wood rail/baluster assembly)
B) Lumber Mill Work (position and guide lumber through cutting tools and/or table stand planing tools)
C) Router Table and Table Saw Operator for processing lumber.
E) Storm Window or Screen Window Installaton (Removal/Replacement of Windows screens)
F) Installing exterior fixtures such as metal poles or metal braces to wooden structures,
G) Ability to scale extension ladders over 28ft to reach upper windows and roof if necessary.
All materials for task execution shall be provided to you.
Ladders / Work-benches / Work-tables / specialized tools along with step-up equipment shall be provided.
Basic skills and protective equipment you must have to be considered:
1) Work gloves / Work shoes (for muddy soil) along with eye protective equipment.
2) Ability to listen and follow directions; Ask for clarification or demonstration on anything not fully understood.
3) Ability to lift lumber and specialized equipments weighing up to 60 lbs for a distance of 50 to 100 feet.
4) Personal hydration such a Water / Gatorade / Juice / etc.
Working Carpentry Tools you must provide yourself to earn Max Hourly Compensation:
5) Basic carpentry tools: Corded or Cordless Power Drill, 8-inch Worm-Drive Circular Saw, Carpenters Square, Framing Square
6) Basic carpentry tools: 16ft length tape measure (min), Jobber drill bits for hardwood or metal (sizes 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", etc)
7) Basic carpentry tools: Philips, Flathead, Torx-15, Torx-20, Torx-25, Torx-30 drill bits to drive screws
Note: Individual Porta-Potty Bathroom(s) shall be provided on-site.
