Neck: Cherry with Ebony top strip on fingerboard.
Type of head: replaced with plastic type. Head diameter 11”
Low serial number for the year 1898.
#of hooks: 28 with them being 3” long. All are original
Rim depth is 2 1/2”
Tail piece : Common Sense but is missing Rosette
Head has been replaced and is not skin
Condition: ALL Mother of Pearl is intact and original. Mother of Pearl position markers on fingerboard
Special features: Wood is engraved above the heel. Steel neck adjuster and fastener
(Stewart started doing this in 1896). The adjuster is made of steel and nickel plated
