Title: CDL Class A Flatbed Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities:
Transport construction equipment and materials throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
Maintain and operate top-of-the-line equipment.
Adhere to LJ Long Transportation safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of flatbed experience.
At least 2 years of CDL-A (OTR) experience.
Drivers with less flatbed experience will undergo LJ Long Transportation's comprehensive flatbed training program and ride with a trainer for a specified time.
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic
Able to meet all DOT Physical requirements
Possess a current CDL (Class A) with an acceptable MVR, with no DUI convictions.
Successful completion of background, drug, and alcohol check.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to trip plan.
Know how to work your clock.
Ability to prepare concise and accurate paperwork and recordkeeping requirements (both written and digital)
Extensive knowledge of the safe operation and features of assigned vehicle
Have a basic understanding of truck maintenance and have the ability to perform minor truck repairs
Skilled in reasoning with the ability to interpret policies, procedures, maps, and directions.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
